Treading not so lightly tonight, Took Tor +5 in the Grey Cup last year and I'm jumping to the other side tonight, of course there is a concern of Toronto bringing vertially everyone back but there is a double revenge factor tonight with BC having been beaten by Toronto the last 2 years in the playoffs. Add the fact BC has made efforts to shore up their D. Their top notch O has many weapons including Jason Clermont who's one of my favs. Should be a good one but took BC on the ML for 5 units.
Back where I'm staying in NY to watch the games on Direct TV after some great sushi and sake, watching the BC-Tor game but also the replay of the game last night. Was hoping former nfler rb John Avery would not play for Toronto so that was a good sign as the rookie replacing him had a big fumble in the 1st half. Toronto D putting good pressure on Dickensen with 4 or 5 sacks. Really like BC's game plan so far, was surprised to see Tony simmons formerly of the Patriots playing for BC. They are really stacked at the receiver and slot back position. Very tall and athletic group, they will put up some big numbers before the season is over. Ottawa Offensive line really sucked last night, painful to watch. Ottawa took a lot of costly penalties also. At one point very easy pic drop by DB, next play great interception by DB and guy gets a brutal roughing the passer. Edmonton then goes down to score and Ottawa also lost their starting linebacker. Anyways great to see the CFL back!!arty:
Bit of a history with them meeting in the Grey Cup game last year, Qb for Toronto Damon Allen played many years in BC and there was some bad blood there the way he was treated, it was a big story for awhile. I guess if you dig enough you'll find something
